A year on St. Andrews Bay
A rough guide to what we're doing through the year, drawn from how we actually fish and hunt.
| Season | On the water |
|---|---|
| Spring | Redfish and speckled trout on the flats with top‑water and soft plastics. When tides are favorable, live bait trips for 6‑plus pound trout and reds. |
| Summer | Live bait trips continue. Tarpon cruising the beaches for sight fishing. Offshore reef trips for red snapper, king mackerel, amberjack and cobia. |
| Autumn | Big schools of feeding redfish and swarms of hungry trout in the shallows. Pompano and Spanish mackerel on light tackle. |
| Winter | Diver duck season, November through January: redheads, bluebills, canvasbacks and buffleheads. Cast & Blast days pair a morning hunt with an afternoon on the flats. |
